Severe Weather Preparedness

Posted by jhatcher

Severe weather in South Georgia can come in many forms. During the winter months, we can go from temperatures in the 80’s to temperatures in the 10’s.

With these wide swings in temperatures, we can have damaging thunderstorms, tornadoes, sleet, freezing rains, and even occasional snow.

Check out the Severe Weather Preparedness section of Ready.gov for more information about how you can be prepared before disaster strikes.
